Dear members,

Please review the Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation for Parkview Swim and Dive Association, Inc. Due to changes in how the IRS is looking at Booster Clubs, and following recommendations and guidelines presented to all Gwinnett County Booster Clubs, we have had to make some changes. The first step was becoming incorporated, which is evident by our new Booster Club name. Secondly, we had to hire an attorney to look over and update our Bylaws so that our organization can apply for 501(c) (3) nonprofit status with the IRS. The Bylaws and the Articles of Incorporation, as well as the budget for 2008-2009 were approved by the Parkview Swim and Dive Association, Inc. Board at our September 17, 2008 meeting. As general members of the Booster Club (Parkview Swim and Dive Association, Inc.), parents will be asked to vote on accepting the updated Bylaws, Articles of Incorporation and the budget for 2008–2009. The week of October 27, you will receive a copy of the PSDA 2008-2009 budget via email. Download and print the Voting Form to turn in at registration.
