Jack Gayle Coach Gayle began swimming at the age of nine in the Gwinnett
County Summer Swim League. At age 11, he joined SwimAtlanta, where he swam until age 21, and still has one of SwimAtlanta’s
fastest 50 meter freestyle times. A member of Parkview’s state championship teams in both 1995 and 1998. In
’98, Coach Gayle was named Team Captain, Most Valuable Swimmer, and won the Panther Award. His school record
in the 50 yard freestyle held until 2008. Coach Gayle swam for the University of Florida and the University of Georgia. In
2000, he qualified for the U.S. Olympic trials in the 50 meter freestyle! Coach Gayle's wife Megan is a math teacher at
Brookwood High School. When he’s not coaching you may find him at a UGA football game, dreaming about Corvettes, reading
about cars, playing PS 2, or working out.
Eric Brown Coach Brown began swimming summer league at the age of six for the Cedar Creek Swim Team. He continued swimming summer league while doing several other sports, including basketball and tennis, until his freshmen year in high school. Then Coach Brown decided to focus on swimming and joined Dynamo Swim Club. His time at Parkview was extremely rewarding as it was highlighted with four consecutive team county championships, as well as state championships in 1998 and 2000. During the summers, Coach Brown coaches the Mountain Park Swim Team. Coach Brown is a graduate of Berry College where he did not swim, but majored in Social Science Education. Since joining the Parkview staff, Coach Brown has taught all levels of World Geography, and earned a Masters of Education from Walden University. |
